Sri Bhagwan, the Omnipresent can be realized in many ways. The prime ways, most commonly undertaken by seekers and devotees of Sanatan Dharma often includes ceremonial worship in the Idol/Image of God in temple and home, spiritual practices of Japa, Yagya, Vrata, Sankirtana and seeing the all-pervading Lord in each and every living being and duly Him with utmost love, sincerity and devotion.

He glorifies the importance of Charity/Donation. The merits of Donation/Charity Daan  is Hinduism is holds one of the loftiest status. Infact, it is one of the most important ways to purify oneself in one’s journey to Self-realization.

In Srimad Bhagwat Gita Sri Bhagwan declares:

यज्ञशिष्टाशिनः सन्तो मुच्यन्ते सर्वकिल्बिषैः ।
भुञ्जते ते त्वघं पापा ये पचन्त्यात्मकारणात् ॥ ३-१३॥

The devotees of the Lord are released from all kinds of sins because they eat food which is offered first for sacrifice. Others, who prepare food for personal sense enjoyment, verily eat only sin.

यज्ञदानतपःकर्म न त्याज्यं कार्यमेव तत् ।
यज्ञो दानं तपश्चैव पावनानि मनीषिणाम् ॥ १८-५॥

Acts of sacrifice, charity and penance are not to be given up; they must be performed. Indeed, sacrifice, charity and penance purify even the great souls.

Kathia Baba Charitable Trust (KBCT) and KREEPA, a non-profit organisation under the auspices of Sri Gurudev has been established with a mission to serve the living embodiment of Sri Bhagwan through Sadhu – Seva, Nara – Narayan Seva, Vidyarthi  Seva,TirthYatriseva,  Gauseva, Bhandara,  Anna dan, Vastradaanseva , health camps, child education, woman empowerment, tree plantation etc. While the other facet of the trust’s serves food and nourishment for the soul through various spiritually uplifting programs like SanatanVaidik Dharma Sanmelan’s, Sri Gopal yagnyas, Srimad Bhagwat Bhakti-Gyan Yagnyas, Bhajan Sandhya etc on the occasion of Sri Gurudev’s Avirbhav Tithis, Guru Purnima, Janmashthami, Dol Purnima celebrated at various parts of the country. Apart from these the trust also sponsors free food and shelter to sadhu-sants and householders during the Kumbha Mela and Braja 84 Kos Parikrama. In Srimad Bhagwat Gita, Lord Krishna says:

दातव्यमिति यद्दानं दीयतेऽनुपकारिणे ।
देशे काले च पात्रे च तद्दानं सात्त्विकं स्मृतम् ॥१७-२०॥

Charity given out of duty, without expectation of return, at the proper time and place, and to a worthy person is considered to be in the mode of goodness.

So, an act of charity/donation, when done by dropping the ego, bearing the noblest of intensions- with all heart and expecting nothing in return surely takes an individual a step ahead in his journey towards attainment of Supreme reality.

These organisations established by Sri Guru Maharaj provide we householders a wonderful opportunity to duly serve and connect to Lord Krishna in His living forms. In other words, by such apparent altruistic acts, we do not serve or do favour to anyone! but sow the seeds of our own welfare in spiritual path of Krishna realisation.
